Balloon Zipline Experiment |
What you need:
- 1 Balloon
- String
- Straw
- Tape
Step 1: Measure out the amount of string you want to use then simply cut.
Step 2: Tie one end to a support,
example - tree, chair, doorknob, etc.
Step 3: Put your straw through the string.
Step 4: Blow up your balloon but do not tie it, just pinch it.
Step 5: Now sticky tape the balloon to the straw. (continue to pinch)
Step 6: Now just let go.

How does this happen?
This experiment is all about air and thrust. When the air starts rushing out the balloon it creates a forward motion called thrust. It's as simple as that.
